Community Support Plus Limited (CS Plus) has provided community based provision since 2001. Our aim is to support local communities, adults with low level skills, families who are suffering generational unemployment, BME communities, adults trapped on benefits, lone parents, 50 plus and other ‘hard to engage’ groups.
CS Plus has never received core grant funding. All activities are funded through the procurement of learning and employment contracts for example through Learning & Skills Council (now SFA), Department for Work and Pensions, University for Industry (Learndirect and UK Online), UK Border Agency (European Integration Fund), European Social Fund et al. Through these activities we mainstream and sustain existing services whilst developing and piloting new services.
