Registration

Joining a programme at CS Plus

To register on any CS Plus programme, please make an appointment with one of our staff in the administration team. When you attend the appointment you must bring two pieces of Identification (ID) which could be:
  • Your passport, drivers licence (with photo) or ID card, basically something which has a photo link in with other details.
  • Proof of address, a bank statement utility bill (gas, electricity, water), Council Tax or telephone bill (but not mobile phone bill)
If you fail to bring two forms of ID, your place on any programme will be delayed until a member of staff has seen them and recorded the “verification of identity” details.

When you come for your appointment at the Waterloo Centre, you will be asked to fill in an enrolment form and your ID will be photocopied and placed in your learner profile. For all learners, during the appointment, you will take a short assessment to determine what level you are at and to ensure you are put in the most appropriate learning or employment course.

In order to join the Employability Skills class the same criteria applies for identification. However with an assessment, you must be at Entry 3 or Level 1 in terms of Literacy. This will give you the best chance of passing the course and get on the first step back into employment.

We ask for this level of English because this is what is expected of you from any employer. If you are looking for work but are not yet at Entry 3 or Level 1, enrol on one of our English or ESOL classes up to Entry 3 as this would be the most practical way of moving forward.
